The Thailand Energy Award 2012 for Outstanding Personnel in Energy

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Solot Suwanayuen (Vice President of King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi in Charge of the Bangkhuntien Campus) received the Thailand Energy Award 2012 for Outstanding Personnel in Energy under the “Building Management Category”. Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra presided over the awards presentation ceremony on Friday, 12th of October 2012 at Synergy Hall, Energy Complex (ENCO).
Assoc. Prof. Dr. Solot was recognized after showing his excellent work on the energy conservation management roadmap with expansion to the community under the sufficiency economy concept as well as encouraging university-community network learning among all stakeholders.
The Thailand Energy Award 2012 is an international standard award that is organized by the Ministry of Energy in cooperation with the Department of Alternative Energy Development and Efficiency. It aims to create awareness among relevant agencies in both public and private sectors on the importance of energy conservation and encourage them to continue developing ideas for sustainable energy.
