Prysmian Group launches a recruitment program to create a young graduate pool with international experience and training

Prysmian Group, world leader in the energy and telecom cables and systems industry, has launched an international programme to recruit 50 new young graduates in Engineering and Economics, with the purpose of helping build the business’s management of the future. The new recruits will be mainly placed in the Research & Development, Manufacturing and Sales & Marketing functions.

The programme involves an initial phase of induction and training at the Milan headquarters, followed by a 12-month job rotation in their country of origin, which will allow them to get first-hand experience of production activities and effectively understand the processes, by spending time in direct contact with factory activities, product technologies or the dynamics of customer relationships. This will be followed by 24 months of experience abroad within a specific function, during which their involvement and integration in the organisation will make a significant contribution to the business goals.

After three years within the programme, the aim is to assign junior management roles in the home country or abroad, based on the following merits: performance appraisals, personal ability, achievements and business needs.

To apply for the program, you’ll need:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in engineering or business administration – or be currently working towards one.
  • To have had an outstanding university career, ideally with experience abroad.
  • Speak fluent English, yet have an international mind-set.
  • To demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Deadline of application: 15 November 2012
