MODFIRE @ FIET for the 32- team round at TPA ROBOT CONTEST THAILAND 2013

A team of Electrical Technology Education students led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Surachai Suksakulchai and Ajarn Kanyuma Jitjumnong from the Department of Electrical Technology Education, Faculty of Industrial Education and Technology, KMUTT by the name of “ModFire@FIET” advanced to the 32 teams round at the TPA Robot Contest Thailand 2013. The competition took place from April 24-25. The contest is organized by the Technology Promotion Association (Thailand-Japan) at Mahanokorn University of Technology. The 16-team round will take place at MCC Hall from May 17 – May 19 at MCC Hall, The Mall Bangkapi, Bangkok.
This competition aims to promote and develop skills in young Thai people to design and build robots at the tertiary level. Also, apart from the winner and runner-up prizes, the final 16 teams will be entitled to participate in the ABU Robot Contest Thailand 2013. The winner will be a representative of Thailand in the upcoming ABU Robot Contest 2013, which will be held in Vietnam.
