A Study Visit from University of Transport and Communications, Vietnam

On 5th April, 2017 Prof.Dr. Duy Viet Nguyen, the Vice Rector and Head of Signal and Information Division together with Dr. Quang Khai Trinh, the Vice Dean, Faculty of International Education   from University of Transport and Communications (UTC), Vietnam were warm welcomed by KMUTT delegates led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suvit Tia, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs; Asst. Prof. Dr. Prasert Kanthamanon, Senior Vice President for Administrative Affairs/ Chief Information Officer; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornapit Darasawang, Vice President for Internationalization; and Dr. Nandh Thavarungkul, Vice President for Quality Assurance, King Mongkut’s University of Technology Thonburi (KMUTT).

The UTC is recognized as the national university in transport sector. They offer 15 disciplines with 69 majors for undergraduate degree, 30 majors for master degree and 20 majors for doctor degree to 25,000 students.

 

Both universities shared university information, discussed about the model of organization and management structure of KMUTT and an international program on civil engineering. The delegates also visited to see facilities at Civil Engineering Department and explore collaboration.
