A Visit from AOARD, US – Air Force Research Laboratory, JapanPosted on May 3, 2017

On 26th April, 2017 Prof. Akira Namatame, the Scientific Advisor from the Asian Office of Aerospace Research and Development (AOARD), US – Air Force Research Laboratory, Japan was warm welcomed by KMUTT representatives from School of Information Technology (SIT), Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering and International Affairs Office, KMUTT.

AOARD, Japan is a funding agency that supports basic research throughout the Asia-Pacific region. It is part of the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) in America.

Prof. Akira Namatame gave an information about the funding program of AFRL. The support is not limited to research grants, it also provides supports on site visits and conference attendance, workshop and conference, and Window-on-Science Traveling. He invites KMUTT professors and researchers who interested in developing collaborative basic research to propose a few paragraphs with ideas to him or AOARD.
