A Visit from University of Strathclyde, Scotland UKPosted on May 29, 2017

On the 24th of May 2017, Dr. Alex Galloway Vice Dean, International Development and Recruitment, and Mr. Robert Graham, International Faculty Officer from Faculty of Engineering, University of Strathclyde, Scotland UK were warm welcomed by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bundit Fungtammasan, Senior Vice President for Research and Innovation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Pornapit Darasawang, Vice President for Internationalization, Prof. Chai Jaturapitakkul, Dean, Faculty of Engineering and Dr.Atichat Preittigun, Advisor, Science, Technology and Innovation Policy Institute (STIPI), KMUTT.

The University of Strathclyde is now among the 20 top research intensive universities in the UK. The University was UK University of the Year in 2012/2013 by Times Higher Education (THE). They also have been named “UK Entrepreneurial University of the Year 2013/14” by THE.

In the meeting both parties exchange their views on Universities, research and collaboration. Strathclyde and KMUTT saw an opportunity to work together on internship program and research collaboration.
