A Brief description of the program: This program is highly recommended for those who wish to study and experience Japanese language and culture at a top class university located in Osaka, the historical commercial hub of Japan.Students can learn main subject in English and learn about the Japanese cultures and circumstances in the 10 or 15-day programs. More specifically, this program enables the students to learn about “Japanese contemporary issues” and “Japanese culture and history” through the activities such as a short-term internship and field works etc. Moreover, there is an optional course ”Survival Japanese Language” for those who want to learn Japanese language. (This course aims for the beginner’s level.) Academic performance will be assessed at the end of the program, and a certificate of completion will be issued.


Unit 1: January 21st (Mon) – January 30th (Wed), 2019 [10 days]

Unit 2: January16th (Wed) ~ January 30th (Wed), 2019 [15 days]


Course fee of Unit 1: JPY 130,000

Course fee of Unit 2: JPY 170,000

Course contents:

Main Course (choose one course from the following): “Work Based Learning” or “Society5.0: Sustainable Development Goals(SDGs) for Japan”

Optional Course:Survival Japanese

Orientation Classes ( only for the Unit2):“Japanese Popular Culture” and “the Introduction Japanese Society”

Qualifications of applicants:

  • Be a currently undergraduate or graduate full-time student at KMUTT
